For the 3rd single from “Doritos & MTN Dew” we decided to parody Chief Keef’s Love Sosa and flip it into a declaration of love to our favorite celebrity Mila Kunis. The song (named Love Mila) features Krypt, Swagger Jagger, Ramz and Swiff Epics and is one of our more humorous songs from the EP.

To accompany the song, the fabulous Electro Jade put together some amazing visuals of Mila Kunis herself. To be honest, after seeing the amazing job that Electro Jade did, we actually felt guilty for tainting it with our obscenities. Speaking of which, please don’t listen to this song around children, as all of us have foul potty mouths.

TheKoalition.com finally presents the long awaited EP titled “Doritos & Mtn. Dew“.

This project started off as a few “one-off songs” made for our own amusement. Before we knew it, the whole thing grew arms and legs and eventually we decided to make an EP. Today’s release date is fitting and deliberate as this is our Christmas present to all you dedicated Koalitioners.

On “Doritos & Mtn. Dew“, The Koalition crew have written songs that reflect their views on the video game industry. We have also written a very special song dedicated to Mila Kunis, which is our latest single, titled “Love Mila” This one is sure to shock some and amuse others at the same time.

We have a new redesign and now a new format for The Co-op podcast. From here on the podcast will be more discussion based as opposed to speaking on multiple news headlines. With that being said, this week’s Co-op topics include Cliff Bleszinski leaving Epic Games and Sony’s new Store update. Conversation quickly gets heated and we end up having a lengthy debate about who the true winner of this generation is.

This weeks panel: Edward V, Gary A. Swaby, Richard Bailey Jr. David Jagneaux and Anthony Frasier.

My Thoughts on Charlie Clips Vs. Serius Jones

Charlie Clips has been rising in the URL ranks ever since his bodybag battle against Aye Verb last year. Serius Jones has been quiet since his battle against Murda Mook, participating in discussions, debates and rap panels. Both these MC’s have something special in common, and that’s the ability to freestyle off the dome. This was the perfect match up of legend vs new comer as these two have almost exactly the same skill set.

The first round was real close, and is without a doubt the most debatable round. Clips clearly took round 2, and I was laughing when that ring card girl ran off stage with the quickness after Clips spit his line. Round 3 was Jones all the way.

It all comes down to who you liked better in that first round, and I personally thought Clips was more consistent. He came with the creative schemes, like taking us through Serius’ house.

Let us know who you think won.

I’ve only been collecting Ballistic art book compilations for a couple years now but even I can tell that EXPOSE 10 marks a special milestone for the brand so passionate about art they built their company around it. This is the tenth edition, and the level of talented art designs is still at an exceptional level.

This volume is 284 pages of blissful artwork, covering a number of different categories including: Portraits, Architecture, Fantasy Females, Conceptual Art, Matte Paintings, Sci Fi, Comics and more. From what I can tell Expose 10 is the best put together volume of the series, I like how the categories are laid out on pages 14-15. The visualizations on the categories alone will help personalize your experience as you will be able to tell which categories captivate you the most and flick right on to those pages instantly.

I personally don’t like to miss any pages when it comes to EXPOSE 10, but these are books you will likely come back to as there’s just too much to take in at once. In which case it’s understandable to browse your desired categories first.

So..Dragon Age 3 was announced about a month ago. Dragon Age: Origins remains as one of the most engaging RPG experiences this generation. So imagine the hurt I (and thousands of other loyal fans) experienced when Dragon Age 2 turned out to be something completely different to the game I first fell in love with.

To be fair, there were parts of Dragon Age 2′s story that became deeply compelling after investing some time into the characters. Many of the themes and subject matter described in the first game were carried over, however they neglected to give us the characters we really cared for. Not to mention the combat and customization was heavily dumbed down to the point it was hardly recognizable as a follow up to Dragon Age. The first game featured some of the most tactical combat I’ve seen in a fantasy RPG in recent years, and then Dragon Age 2 came out like an entry into the Dynasty Warriors series.

With all these upsets it’s hard to look forward to Dragon Age III: Inquisition. So before you agree or disagree (ripping me to shreds most likely) let me further articulate why I have no hope for this game.

I’ve been going through a lot these past few weeks, and it’s made me realise just how much things in our modern life distract you from achieving your goals. Most people have dreams but never manage to translate them into achievable goals. And many of us who do manage to set achievable goals for ourselves end up getting sidetracked.

Below is a list of five things that I have realised can distract you from achieving achieving goals and following your dreams. Keep in mind that I’m not saying these things should be completely off limits while you’re on you grind, but a little too much of each is enough to put you off course.

The Epic Network Magazine:

Following sheer boredom and an opportunity to boost a portfolio, I designed a few imaginary layouts for an imaginary magazine. whilst The Epic Network is real (nowadays known as TEN for us), it’s always easy to find yourself drifting off in the possibilities of making a brand much more recognized than being simply a website.

Creating magazine spreads/layouts and cover designs was a way to pretty much help me improve skills using Photoshop and InDesign a lot more. It is not perfect, but close enough to what I think are decent layouts.

Each spread have photos taken simply from Google and then edited about, EXCEPT the Pixar image, which was drawn by me. The Man Of Steel cover was also drawn out by me, but that is drawn by 50,000+ people all the time.
